Blog Post #4: Final Demo Reel, Render, VLNEXT, and Integration 04/22/2024

Final Demo Reel The background music was replaced with something more fitting that one may hear in a lobby or lounge. Placeholder photos were replaced with the final compositions, as well as new subjects added for other completed areas. Background motion through the brand shapes was also a new addition. The organization of the demo reel was based on displaying the final works first, then the development pictures, as well as displaying the various funding and networking events we attended. Final Brand Render   The final/additional brand render is now complete as a 3840x2160 image (Though Blogger will cause for it to be lossy). I was able to create a 3D-brand render through Blender 4.0 and the Cycles rendering engine. I am very satisfied with this composition; I had created a 3D-model of the Junietta logo, modified it to have varying layers of height dependent on color, and dedicated a good portion of the time perfecting the lighting. A special "Shade Smooth" technique wa...

Another $10,000 of non-dilutive funding! This makes our total funding for this year $22,250 . This is more than enough to fund our first initial product. We were recently accepted to the Venture Lab Next program at the University of Cincinnati, and over the course of this summer, we will meet and work with various industry professionals and mentor entrepreneurs to assist us in perfecting our prototype synthesizer. This new business accelerator will be a fantastic learning experience and way to hit the ground running. - Stefan

Side Post: Draft Demo Reel, P&G Expert Advice, and Social Media Campaigns

This is a draft demo reel for what I have accomplished during this semester and quarter with Junietta for the DFX 452 project. What you can view here is subject to change. For example: 1. I would like to add more motion to the background if time allows. 2. The background music will be replaced. 3. The placeholder photos will be replaced.   Here is the draft demo reel! I am satisfied with the basic, forward and simple structure. I really enjoy the intro logo sequence. This demo reel is meant to fit in as a presentation that you may see on office monitors or company monitors to showcase quarterly work, things of that sort. Alternatively, it is a reference for what a background video may look like on the Junietta website , which we are currently working on as well (Not to be confused with my personal portfolio website that will have a DFX452 section). Advice from a Seasoned Professional In addition to this DFX 452 demo reel, at Junietta we have continued our time after the NVP w...

Over the next few weeks I will continue to elaborate on my final works for the DFX 452 project, and Junietta as a whole continues to secure funding for our synthesizer product, gain focus groups, and attract a following. Blog Post #3: Final Style Guide, Posters, Business Cards, and Deliverables Check 03/27/2024

Hello again. It has been a very eventful few weeks at Junietta, and in this 3rd main blog post, I'll go into specifics about the finalized style guide, new posters, business cards, and the deliverables check. This post will consist of five different sections, the Style Guide, Poster/Synthesizer Render, Business Cards, Deliverables Check, and New Venture Championship. Style Guide While we are still waiting for input from the outside brand designer regarding our style guide, I have created the final guide for our internal use. I will share a few pages in the post. Mainly, we have added a few sections (Not all shown in the images), that being... 1. Updated Logo Section 2. Core Values Section 3. Updated Social Media Section 4. Business Card Layout Section The final style guide displays our branding front and center, down the the page color, monochrome buildings, sketches, and various shapes found around the content.   Therefore, the style guide is now complete, and that portion...

Side Post: Final Logo & UC New Venture Championship

Hello all. We have been making great progress at Junietta, and this side blog post will go into detail about a few developments. Recently I presented my findings and progress to the DFX 452 class and offered the chance for the class to give input on our two final logo contenders, seen below.  The class overall preferred the left logo, which is more in-tune with our project goals and company values. It is representative of the layers of music, akin to the earth's core, and how humans are connected to our planet through culture. We decided to further refine this logo and change the "warp effect," which leads us to our finalized logo that will be used in company advertising, style guides, branding, and production. This new and refined orb logo, seen at the top of this post, is our pride and joy. We have spent countless hours refining, testing, and iterating on the logo project, and we are truly happy with the final outcome. For the next news in this side blog, we were sugge...
