Side Post: Draft Demo Reel, P&G Expert Advice, and Social Media Campaigns
This is a draft demo reel for what I have accomplished during this semester and quarter with Junietta for the DFX 452 project. What you can view here is subject to change. For example:
1. I would like to add more motion to the background if time allows.
2. The background music will be replaced.
3. The placeholder photos will be replaced.
Here is the draft demo reel!
I am satisfied with the basic, forward and simple structure. I really enjoy the intro logo sequence. This demo reel is meant to fit in as a presentation that you may see on office monitors or company monitors to showcase quarterly work, things of that sort. Alternatively, it is a reference for what a background video may look like on the Junietta website, which we are currently working on as well (Not to be confused with my personal portfolio website that will have a DFX452 section).
Advice from a Seasoned Professional
In addition to this DFX 452 demo reel, at Junietta we have continued our time after the NVP win to meet with various industry professionals. Most recently we met with a senior product designer from Proctor & Gamble who offered us sound advice and assistance with our synthesizer.
"Innovate on what will specifically set your product apart from the others, and put all effort into that. Everything else, such as the way the prototype looks, comes second."
Social Media Campaigns
We have also finalized the basic creation of Junietta's LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and similar. We are regularly posting on LinkedIn as the University of Cincinnati often links and mentions us in their posts from our time at NVP as well as our presence in their other events. Very soon we will begin uploading to the various platforms to document our journey and spread the word about our brand.
Website, eMail services, & more
The team has been hard at work setting up our online workspaces, website, and infrastructure. So far, our @junietta.com custom emails work fantastically, alongside our WIP website and our collaborative internal workspace (Via Notion).
I look forward to writing Blog Post 4 and detailing the final touches on this successful project so far. Keep an eye out for the final demo reel, the final synthesizer promotional material, and more of my writings to come.
Thank you!
